Orange Basin 2D Seismic Survey
Pioneering Exploration in the Orange Basin
Following a string of major successes across the Orange Basin from 2019, Searcher’s inaugural entry into the region was with the Orange Basin MC2D Seismic Survey. Acquired in 2022 with the M/V BGP Pioneer and processed with a high-end PSDM workflow with project partner DUG, the survey spans 4,970 kilometers across offshore South Africa and into International Waters along the highly prospective Venus trend.
