North Perth Basin Magnetic and Gravity Merge

A Comprehensive Geophysical Dataset for Exploration in the Perth Basin

The Perth Basin Magnetic and Gravity Merge covers an area of over 37,000 sq km, blending reprocessed and merged gravity and magnetic data. This massive reprocessing journey has combined detailed ground gravity data and 11 gravity gradiometry surveys (FTG/AGG) with the regional data, resulting in unmatched seamless merges of ground and airborne data that can be licensed.

Products emerging from this process include detailed imagery from gravity and gravity gradiometry data, alongside comprehensively merged airborne magnetic data. The data package also includes an extensive presentation that discusses the various nuances of the survey specifications and provides initial interpretation observations. The significant enhancement in the level of detail through meticulous reprocessing dramatically improves the interpretability of existing ground and airborne data, providing licensees with unparalleled insights into the regional geological and structural framework, playing a critical role in our understanding of the petroleum systems within the Perth Basin.
