Searcher, in conjunction with project partner TGS, has compiled over 28,000 km of Post-Stack, PSTM and Scanned 2D seismic data covering the Fly River Platform in the offshore and transition zone of the Gulf of Papua, to create the largest non-exclusive reprocessed dataset in Papua New Guinea.

Modern processing techniques have significantly improved the seismic quality, revealing a thick sedimentary section in the nearshore regions, upgrading the prospectivity of the entire Gulf of Papua.
