Ningaloo Arch 2D PSTM Reprocessing
Carnarvon Basin, Australia
Searcher Seismic has PSTM reprocessed 2,387 km of 2D seismic data over 3 current 2010 offshore exploration acreage release blocks located over the Ningaloo Arch, which is situated at the southern margin of the Exmouth Sub-Basin. The offshore exploration acreage release blocks are located contiguous to what previously formed part of, but now surrounds petroleum exploration permit WA-271. The Ningaloo Arch 2D Non-Exclusive Reprocessing Project is derived from 4 different vintages of 2D seismic data ranging from 1996 – 2001.
The Ningaloo Arch 2D Non-Exclusive Reprocessing project area is located on the southern margin of the Exmouth Sub-basin and includes the Triassic high of the south-eastern margin of the Exmouth Plateau. During the last decade, several oil and gas fields have been proven in this region, including the Vincent-Enfield, Laverda, Stybarrow and Eskdale fields.
