Beluga Terrace 2D PSTM Reprocessing
Bonaparte Basin, Australia
Searcher Seismic in conjunction with project partner Geotrace have PSTM reprocessed over 4,300 km of 2D seismic data from 7 different vintages acquired between 1988 and 1998. The Beluga Terrace 2D Non-Exclusive PSTM Reprocessing Project is located in the north eastern part of the Bonaparte Basin at the juncture of the Malita and Calder Graben. The main focus of the project is to improve the quality of existing open file seismic over what was Federal Acreage Release Block NT09-1, now awarded as NT/P82.
The Beluga Terrace 2D Non-Exclusive PSTM Reprocessing Project features several well ties into the proven gas fields of Evans Shoal, Calita and Heron all of which are immediately adjacent to the projects area of focus. The only exploration well drilled within the permit boundary of NT/P82 (Beluga-1), which was a test of a stratigraphic trap and had minor hydrocarbon shows but no significant hydrocarbons were recovered. Recent processing has revealed several possible leads which could warrant further exploration.
The Beluga Terrace 2D Non-Exclusive PSTM Reprocessing Project is available for immediate delivery.
