The Flinders Deepwater seismic survey was the first large scale exploration focused survey (16,000km covering 40,000km2) acquired over the frontier Ceduna sub-basin containing the unexplored Turonian to Campanian age Ceduna Delta. The Ceduna delta is recognized as one of the largest Cretaceous age deltas yet to be explored in the world.
With mutli Tcf potential in simple structures the Ceduna Sub-basin remains one of Australias premier frontier basins
Searcher Seismic implemented post stack reprocessing to enhance the data quality of this large survey and has produced significant improvement in the fault plane imaging and amplitude variations. |
