Searcher Seismic was established in 2005 with a proven track record in generating, operating and marketing high quality Non-Exclusive seismic projects. Our projects focus on either reprocessing existing regional datasets or acquiring new seismic data to enhance the prospectivity, understanding and marketability of a basin or region.

Searcher Seismic's management and staff have experience in working in conjunction with various government agencies in order to develop and promote mature and frontier basin acreage as well as assisting with policy definition in regard to acreage and data releases. In this capacity our staff have worked with government agencies from Australia, Norway, Brazil, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and with various states in the Caribbean.

Since its establishment, Searcher Seismic has worked closely with the Papua New Guinean, Indonesian and Australian governments in promoting proven basins such as the East Java Sea, Carnarvon and Exmouth Basins and has also been a driving force in the opening of new exploration opportunities in frontier areas such as the Deepwater Semai, Great Australian Bight, Gulf of Papua and the Gorontalo Basin.
